Jenny, you picked my absolute favorite Sting lyrics. Think how powerful those words are! My second choice would be: "Seems that when some innocent dies All we can offer them is a page in a some magazine Too many cameras and not enough food This is what we've seen Driven to tears..." I was in Jr. High when Live AID and the Ethiopia Famine were being publicized and this made me really stop and think that the things I was seeing on TV were real people, not just pictures. It made an impact on me. I am grateful to Sting for that. Also, I would probably have never read Lolita if not for him, not to mention countless other books for which I am also grateful. At least this nonsense from Blender has gotten everyone thinking about some great lyrics written by the Stingmeister. One of my favorites will always be "fragile" (please forgive any misquoting): If blood will flow When flesh and steel are one drying in the color of the evening sun tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away but something in our minds will always stayKatie From: TaoofKim@aol.comDate: Thu, 11 Oct 2007 10:02:49 -0400To: Police@mailman.xmission.comSubject: Re: [Police] re: favorite Sting Lyrics Jenny, you picked my absolute favorite Sting lyrics.
