For what it's worth, a contact of mine who works for Clear Channel said that we should look out for The Police tour announcement the day after the Grammy's. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it matches up with what I think many of us have begun to suspect over the last number of days, so it's nice to hear additional "confirmation" from another source. As far as PR people go, I imagine Sting feels a lot better w/o Miles around. It's just a hunch, but it always seemed to me that Miles was a littel pushier/flashier about PR than Sting might have liked (though, he kept him around for 15 years or so... so I guess that might debunk that theory). With Miles out of the way, there's one Summers, one Sumner, and one Copeland, so it seems more even, potentially, and I guess I could see Miles as one sticking point why Sting wouldn't rejoin The Police.
