What on earth is the point of the sting.com "survey" (newsletter subscribers should have received it). "We want to continue to bring you the kinds of promotions and offers that you enjoy so please let us know what you think". Well, I wasn't given an opportunity in the survey to say what I think, but I AM thinking "What the hell do these questions have to do with the kinds of promotions I'm being offered..." 1. Race. Being a white caucasian, will I get better or worse promotions than anyone who answers hispanic, or black? 2. Income. If I earn less than $25,000, will I get subsidies on tickets or albums, compared to someone who has an income of over $100,000??? 3. Gender. Will I get worse presale tickets because I don't have breasts (ok, I do have breasts, but they're not quite the same on a man). 4. Will I miss out on special offers or promotions because I don't visit "Womens issues" websites, or visit music downloading sites??? I'm really not thinking that the survey is for our benefit at all, but to give Ultrastar some demographic data about us... I really don't see how our answers are going to enhance the promotions we get. Anyone else have any ideas? J.
This "survey" is the final reason for me not to nenew my membership again - I'm still asking myself why I ever paid this huge amount of money for virtually nothing in the first place. And they surely won't be getting any new money from me for another year. This whole thing is becoming more and more ridiculous. -----Original Message----- From: police-bounces+the-police=t-online.de@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-bounces+the-police=t-online.de@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Jason Sheldon Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2004 12:14 PM To: police@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Police] What the??? Hi Jason! I think there is something about the survey you can do to bright your mood! If you only see it as something bad that's supposed to give Ultrastar some demographic data about us and you hate it, why not to make some confusion in it by submitting all data wrong? Write them that you are a lady, rich as hell etc.... Then again, what makes you think women are going to get something better them men? Your breasts might not be as beautiful as mine (LOL) but you posses something that I as a woman can't have even in the smallest version!!!! So don't be so negative and always look on the bright side of life. Perhaps it doesn't answer your question but you asked what we were thinking of it, so I post this in reply! :):):) Cheers, Panda p.s. I don't know if it applies to all emails, but in mine it says "You are not obligated to respond to our survey" -----Original Message----- From: Jason Sheldon [mailto:Jason@digital-solutions.co.uk] Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2004 1:14 PM To: police@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Police] What the???
