For those interested they went to Bungalow 8 and a place called Box. Trudie was dressed as catwoman and my understanding is that no one recognized them all night. Sting is not 6 feet tall. I am 6 feet tall. I met him years ago and I had to stoop down when we were photographed, and he was wearing boots. I'm guessing he's about 5' 9", though I think he would like people to think he's larger. He's a very slight man. Off Topic- Help from the UK?

Hello everyone! I apologize for the off topic post here but I didn't know where else to try. I need help with a Christmas gift and I am thinking there may be a way someone in Britain can help me. Since this is the only place that I may "know" someone from Britain I'm giving it a shot. My husband and I are big fans of the author Terry Pratchett. We have all of his books (even the ones for kids) and my husband has read them all at least five times. It seems that there have been some movies made of these books but that they are only available in the UK. The one that I know my husband really wants is "The Hogfather" which is Christmas themed if you are not familiar with the books. I have tried everything I can think of but it seems that the DVD's are not coded for the US. In some discussions on this list in the past I have heard some people talk of having DVD players that play DVD's from all regions. I guess this is a long shot but if there is someone out there who has this DVD and could copy it for me in such a way that we could play it on a DVD player coded for the US. I would be happy to pay for the DVD and shipping, even a reasonable fee for time spent doing this. You see, it's really about the only thing my husband wants for Christmas and he's my best friend and love of my life. He also has searched the Internet trying to find a way we can get this movie but to no avail. I know he would be super impressed if I could find a way to do it. Also if anyone has suggestions for ideas, if you have handled a problem like this before, would be most appreciated. Thank you and happy holidays! The Police Reggatta de Blanc dvd

Hello, For those who want to know more about the dvd of the POLICE called Reggatta de Blanc who is currently sold on AMAZON here you have a short review.My curiosity was stronger than my good sense and finally I catch the film. As somebody said in the post, (I guess it was Karel!!!) the quality is not the best one, specially for the live songs.Is not and official release, but is very interesting specially for the interviews of the journalists like Hugh Fielder,Chris Welch the musician John McKenzie and the recent interview of Henry Padovani.The songs of the dvd are take from the german TV and they are from a Rockpalast show, not the one from Zenyatta Tour , is one from 1979.The songs are cut for the interviews but the images are great..not in a exc quality but great.( Dietmar...is time for you to check the show and remember us the date). The DVD includes 11 tracks,and a photo gallery.with a nice PS and info.about the dvd inside. This is the info...for those who want to get more info..just contact to me!!!. Little Buenos Aires concerts review

I'm starting this mail as most of non-English speakers do: I'm sorry for my English writting. Please understand this is not my native language. I'll do my best!!! I want to say that i'm still shocked and excited with the things that I lived on Saturday and Sunday nights. I'm 25 and started listening to The Police when I was 13, when I found a Greatest Hits CD that belonged to my sister (the one with the white background and the picture with the three of them wearing black glasses). Since that moment I became a fan and when I started to read things about the band I realized that I would never be able to see them alive. So last weekend I felt like all my dreams were becoming true. I admit I was a bit affraid that shows would not completely fill my expectations, but now I see that I couldn't be more wrong. Both shows were unbeliaveble amazing! The sound quality, the big screens, the audience, the schedule, Sting, Andy, Stewart! Everything was incredible. Even Beck seemed to sound well while we were waiting the main event!!! The setlist was the identical for both concerts: Message in a bottle Synchronicity II Walking on the Moon Voices Inside My Head / When The World Is Running Down… Don't Stand So Close to Me Driven To Tears Truth Hits Everybody Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic Wrapped Around Your Finger De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da Invisible Sun Walking In Your Footsteps Can't Stand Losing You / Regatta de Blanc Roxanne King of Pain So Lonely Every Breath You Take Next To You I was surprised how they made room for Andy. He, with his red stratocaster, really rocked!!! He did 5 o 6 solos that were amazing!!! Sting reached almost all the high tones he wanted to reach. He made two mistakes with the bass that i could count but he played brillantly (with his left thumb pressing the fourth string, strange technique) Stew was absolutely great. Sometimes seemed as if the drums were part of his body. And of course he was the most beloved by the audience. A continuous ovation for him. The shows duration were of 1:45 hour. Both of them. That was a con. Everything was under a script. Even an acting that Andy an Stewart made before Next to you bis. Both days the same.
