Well, I hate to be the one to sour the mood and take away from a great review, but I have to disagree with LeandroÂ´s review. Your english is very good by the way. I had the great fortune to see this show in Buenos Aires as well, on the 2nd of Dec. My wife is from Buenos Aires, and I am the godfather of my sister-in-laws daughter and she is getting baptized this weekend, and of course my presence was a must. And what a coincidence, the Police are playing as well!!! Of course my wife knew and there was no need to say anything. She hadnÂ´t gotten to see them with me in Vancouver or Denver, and she wanted the chance, and what better place than at the stadium of her favorite soccer team, Estadio River Platte.... She was here a week before I got down here,(IÂ´m still here by the way) and she got some tickets for us through my sister-in-law. Well, I just wasnÂ´t that blown away by them, not like I was in Vancouver (in spite of the fact that it was their first live performance together, but just the excitement of seeing them for the first time did it for me), and Denver (where they had gotten things a bit more together). I will say though, that they did have a much more cohesive sound and things sounded very smooth and everything gelled. Andy sounded much more confident on his guitar and his solos really did rock... Glad to see him pull out the Tele too. DonÂ´t remember seeing it at the other shows. But all-in-all, I just didnÂ´t feel the energy from the crowd that I felt in the US, and I think that sort of sapped the energy from their show a bit. Everybody was sitting almost the whole show, with the exception of the people on the floor in front of the stage- they were really into it. HadnÂ´t seen the little schtick that Andy did right before they did Next To You before. That was sort of cool to see Andy taking the center stage by himself, being the goofball he has always been. Like I said, I hate to be the one to put a sour note on somebodyÂ´s great review. A friend of my wife also went to the show, but on the 1st of Dec., also a life-long Police fan, and even had seen them when they came through Buenos Aires back in the 80Â´s. She was also not that impressed. Well, people have different opinions about the same shows. DoesnÂ´t mean IÂ´m not glad to have seen them again. Will still go to some more shows if I have the chance. Maybe itÂ´s also the fact that they are playing the same set list and not changing it, with the exception of removing songs, ie. Spirits and Murder by Numbers.... I would love to hear Man In A Suitcase and Peanuts or Born in the 50s, or Canary In A Coalmine. Wish they would do DonÂ´t Stand So like the album or more like they used to live. I really liked Truth Hits Everybody at this show, Next to You. Could have done without Wrapped Around Your Finger. Well, thatÂ´s my 2 cents worth anyways. The setlist was the identical for both concerts: Message in a bottle Synchronicity II Walking on the Moon Voices Inside My Head / When The World Is Running DownÂ Don't Stand So Close to Me Driven To Tears Truth Hits Everybody Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic Wrapped Around Your Finger De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da Invisible Sun Walking In Your Footsteps Can't Stand Losing You / Regatta de Blanc Roxanne King of Pain So Lonely Every Breath You Take Next To You I was surprised how they made room for Andy. He, with his red stratocaster, really rocked!!! He did 5 o 6 solos that were amazing!!! Sting reached almost all the high tones he wanted to reach. He made two mistakes with the bass that i could count but he played brillantly (with his left thumb pressing the fourth string, strange technique) Stew was absolutely great. Sometimes seemed as if the drums were part of his body. And of course he was the most beloved by the audience. A continuous ovation for him. The shows duration were of 1:45 hour. Both of them. That was a con. Everything was under a script. Even an acting that Andy an Stewart made before Next to you bis. Both days the same. Police story

Thought I would share a Police story I heard on Saturday night. This guy I know has a friend who is a jazz/rock musician who has played with Andy a number of time and told him to come to a Police show and come back stage and say hi etc. And they go to the Halloween show this year and after the show go see Andy who is very friendly and says do you want to go out with us, they say sure, and they go to some bar/club in the meat packing district of NYC. Fun time and many dancers and Sting is clearly enjoying himself with that action. Also he never took off his Joker get up staying in costume until after 4am when he left. Said he was kinda surprised, Sting was shorter than he thought and partied much longer than he would have guessed, Everyone very nice and of course as we know Andy was a great guy. thought others might enjoy as well.
