You think he just doesn't have the material? I agree that a remix of "Moon
Over Bourbon Street" won't make me run out and buy the single.
And I thought "End of the Game" would have been one of the better songs on
Brand New Day had it been included on the album. Maybe "End of the Game" was
held off the album so it could be that gem B-side for the "Brand New Day"
single, a B-side that would significantly boost sales. Maybe Sting's marketing team
will use the same ploy with the new album, releasing only ten songs so that
one or two B-side gems can be withheld. Time will tell.
Somehow, the three songs from the Hall of Fame induction will make Sting,
Andy, and Stewart some money. I don't think the songs will be Sting B-sides.
But they will be released. I can see the Hall of Fame songs on yet another
Police greatest hits CD. How many Police greatest hits CDs are out now? Have we
hit triple digits yet? Gosh, I hope P. Diddy is involved with the next
greatest hits CD.
