Alright... so looking at youtube for The Police, where does this come from? It looks fairly well shot, too! Did they have other shows professionally done that haven't been published? OMG, that was better than I hoped for! It was definitely Sting yelling(IMHO). I have to agree that I never thought I would see Sting look so happy to be playing with them again. And Stewart's joy is just contagious! Did Any walk off the wrong side of the stage?Two hours later and I'm still flustered! WOW Now to see what tomorrow holds. First, they all looked fantastic! Sting was obviously wearing vintage Police wear, and did I notice an original guitar in his hands? And could Stewart have looked happier? And who were those lucky people onstage? Were Michele and Maggie among them? I was hoping so! I watched as much of the "pregame" (as my husband called it! LOL!) as I could stand, and virtually everyone they spoke to said that the thing they were most looking forward to was the Police reunion, including Randy Jackson, Natalie Cole, and several other notables! Comments? Responses? In any case, this is by far the best grammy show I've ever seen! ;-) Holly

This year, the opening act was the Police, a band that broke up in 1984. They opened the show with a sort-of mashup version of "Roxanne" -- with elements of "Driven to Tears" -- and earned a standing ovation.
