What song would you like them to play? One song I definitely would love to hear (and it's quite appropriate in this day and age) is One World (Not Three). Stewart's drumming on this song is masterful.

Andy Tele follow up

A little more on the Tele at the HOF with Andy. I was at a book signing a couple months ago and Andy spoke about the beat up old Tele and how he still cherishes it. He spoke of it quite lovingly and he still has it so I don't think that was the issue. He seems to baby it these days is the impression I got. Not take it out so much as its worth a lot etc. In fact he said how this year Fender will be coming out with a signature series guitar replica of that Tele - even examining every detail and recreating the scratches and custom stuff in it (like the pickup configuration). He said it will be very expensive was how he put it. I may have video of that part of his speaking not sure - need to check the archives. I just googled it and it seems some articles on Fender doing this are coming out. BTW - in the book this Fender is not the guitar he and Eric sold each other - the Fender is the one he bought from a student of his in California in the 70's. It's a customized '61 Fender Tele. Hello Everybody!!!, Now seriously, here you have a transcription of the Stewart Copeland answer of my question about a future Police reunion.I do this in Catalunya Radio, the National radio in Catalonia in the most popular and serious program called "El Mati de Catalunya Radio" with Antoni Bassas director (26.10.2006 studio nº 1 Catalunya Radio,Barcelona,Catalonia).: TRANSCRIPTION: .....uhmmm I don't know,I don't think so!!!is and accident, depend again there are so many accidents,by accident Sting has a new album this week and by accident Andy Summers has a book and also Henry Padovanni, so there's no 3, four Police man travelling Europe selling stuff.........but is a coincidence!!!!. Hello The Police will start the Tour in Barcelona.The promoter confirmed that will be 10 days rehersals at Sant Jordi Stadium on May 2007.Then will open the tour in the bigest stadium in Europe...naturally..bigest and best stadium of FC Barcelona.Tickets for the 2 nights concerts will be on sale next month. Funny, Kim... when I emailed my sister w/the link to the rumour, my subject line was "Yes... Hell has frozen over!" Here I go, kinda OT: Had my own dose of alternate reality last night. My 8 year old went to her first "real" concert w/4 other little screamers (or if you're following the "to do" on sting.com, they'd be ankle biters....) A friend took the girls to see the Cheetah Girls, and I wasn't there (have to save my money for MY shows!). After all the excitement of finding the "perfect" outfit, getting ready, going to dinner, they ended up in a car accident. Nothing brings you down from the Police high faster than a phone call from your friend beginnig with "Everything's OK, but..." As much as this concert talk makes me want to throw up, this ripped me to shreds. Paige was crying, I was trying to calm her down on the phone. Turns out part of it was that they were going to be late for the Cheetah Girls. That's my girl! All is well, the car that hit them was totaled, they only missed the opener. Thank God for giant suburbans in Texas. Here she was a on a "big girl" outing, and all she wanted was her mom. Making me think twice about any travels abroad just to follow a band (OK, OK, I know I'm wrong there, but I have to keep telling myself that to try to hold it together!) May just be looking at US dates at this point. I'm sure I'll be over the fear of the road in a week, but that's where I am right now.
