Need help identifying two shows

Hi all. I just received a DVD with various live recordings of our man, and I am trying to figure out when exactly they are from. There is a recording from Newcastle around 1986. First Sting is interviewed in the dressing room while preparing to go on stage, and then he performs these songs: 1. Consider Me Gone 2. Fortress Around Your Heart 3. Russians 4. If You Love Somebody, Set Them Free 5. The Dream of The Blue Turtles / Demolition Man Next is a (different) recording of these songs: 1. One World, Not Three (feat. Ziggy Marley) 2. Be Still My Beating Heart 3. Fragile 4. They Dance Alone 5. We'll Be Together On the back wall it says "Montreux", so I thought it was from one of the jazz festivals, but it seems to be playback or singback, because many of the tracks fade out in the end. It is from Sting's "long hair" period. The rest I have pretty much figured out, but I would like to put a date and venue on these two segments. Do they ring a bell? Mikkel, Yes, this is Montreux, but not the Jazz Festival. This was the "Montreux Rock Festival", held from May 12 - 14 th 1988 at the "old" Montreux Casino, which had many International Stars performing a 15 - 20 minutes set, most of them where Playback. I remember while Sting's performance they had serious problems with a cameraman, that they had to perform "One World, Not Three" TWO Times. I even took some photographs, but they are not very good. Eurythmics, The Christians, The Cross, Cheap Trick, Crowded House, Chris Rea, Bros (do you remember ?)...any many many more where "performing". Peace ! Reggatta D'Ete tourbooks

Hi I almost made the mistake of trying to sell a double REGGATTA D'ETE tourbook on ebay. At closer inspection I noticed that it's different from the other one I had. Makes sense: one was made for the Milton Keynes concert and one for the Dublin concert. The difference is not in the POLICE pages, but in pages about the different bands for each concert. In case you're collecting almost everything (as I do) also check out your REGGATTA DE BLANC tourbooks. One version has a page about the band FASHION. Very cool, thanks for the link. It *had* been a while since I've seen the full-length version. Does anyone know if this entire version was typically shown in black and white, or am I remembering incorrectly? I remember seeing the whole thing, but not in color...
