Hi all, I've decided to sell a few DVDs of my collection and thought before I put them up on eBay I will offer them to the folks here on the list. I am asking for the same prices I paid. Here they are (all are original DVDs [*no* DVD-Rs]): - 'We Burn For You' (Bootleg DVD including 'Rockpalast' show in Hamburg, Germany, January 1980 in perfect great quality + 1986 Amnesty New Jersey 'reunion' show) 20 Euro - 'An Englishman In Lisboa' (Bootleg DVD including concert in Lisbon from 'Rock In Rio' festival 6th June 2004 + bonus tracks. One of the bonus tracks 'Roxanne' live at 'TFI Friday' 1997 [UK tv] is spoiled by a mastering error. Should be the same on all discs of this title) 15 Euro - 'The Police' (this is an official South Korean release, included is the concert at Gateshead from 1982, formerly only available on a rare Japanese laser disc, it's great!) 15 Euro All DVDs come with full original artwork and their condition is like new. Or you can buy the track for 99 cents on iTunes! or just listen to 30 seconds of it... It's there, I just looked. 5 minutes and 5 seconds worth. Well, as soon as I could get away from the office, I went directly to the store for Chris Botti's CD. I got the dual disc, with the DVD on the back -- watching it now for the first time. It is excellent -- there is no other word. And the track that Sting sings "for me" (What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life")... well, let's just say that it is even better than I have imagined (and I have been imagining since April, when I met him!!!). He brought in Christian McBride on bass and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, and it has a smooth jazz flavor that is perfectly delicious. Actually, "perfect" is another good descriptor! Okay, I'm prejudiced, but trust me, it's as good as it gets for that sort of song. If you're not familiar with the song, you're in for a treat. And he said, "I will -- I'll sing it for you."?!?! Remember?!?! BECAUSE HE DID!!!!! IT'S NOT ONLY HIS TRACK ON THE NEW CHRIS BOTTI ALBUM, IT'S APPARENTLY THE NEW CHRIS BOTTI SINGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Syncronicity DVD

Well its been released down here in Australia and I received mine yesterday. I hadn't watched my VHS of the gig for at least 5 years, so the difference of it being on DVD was noticeable, a heck of a lot clearer. I have had a fair few people on this list and others ask me if I had ever seen the Melbourne interviews or if I had copies, and to be honest I couldn't remember ever seeing them. When I watched them last evening I do remember seeing them and its was almost like yesterday. The memories that came back to me, of a simpler, uninhibited, fun time of my life and I guess the world. Oh to be 21 again!!! The only real comment about the DVD that I have is..... Lord what were we thinking, did we really wear some of those clothes. Man there were some fashion victims in that crowd.
