OK, finally got the new CD today. I just have to say that Dead Mans Rope is a FANTASTIC song, very much like Why Should I Cry For You. I dont care too much for the rest of the songs, I guess that there are some of them that will grow on me but there are some that Im pretty sure wont. There are two songs that I think are more or less crap and that is Stolen Car and This War. Just listening to Never Coming Home right now as Im typing, and I think thats one of those songs that has the potential to grow on me. Thats all for now, Patrik

Well I am bummed. I had my trip all planned to NYC for next week. Getting up around 3am taking the train in for the Today show, see Sting, then take in the sights of the city. Just my luck my son has parent teacher conferences scheduled for 7-9:30 am. And its not like I can blow them off either, this is a new junior high for him and we have already had some problems the first two weeks of school, I.E. he got on the bus one day and the driver told him to WALK home because there was no room on the bus. Anyhew, I guess I will miss the Today show. To all of you who are going, have a great time! Heather

Hi everybody, here is Giovanni again. A few notesa bout the Verona Festivalbar appearance last Saturday, on September 20th. The most important music tv show has its final chapter at the Arena in Verona, Italy, whre Sting performed three songs (half-playback): - Send Your Love (live vocals, guitar and percussion) - Roxanne (live acoustic) - Whenever I Say Your Name (live vocals with Mary J. Blige) During the soundcheck Sting joked a little bit singing some words from Italian famous opera arias. He felt relaxed and enjoyed a lot. The show has been televised on Italia 1 (broadcasted tonight, September 23rd); if some of you is interested in, I'm open to video swaps.
