So who will be drumming with Sting? One good news is that that Kipper won't be touring. I will you Mikkel;all this drum programming that Kipper put on Sting is not all that great. Sting should stick with real good drummers like before.

sting's beard on kilborne

Craig Kilborne has an "admiring sting's beard" moment on his show. he had a large head shot of sting with the beard, and he did a voiceover as the camera panned in closer and closer on the photo, until it filled the whole screen. he was saying things like, oh look at his beard, all fluff, so sexy, (sang) every hair on his face, don't you love his beard, how long did it take to grow it out to that sexy length, every little beard hair you see is magic and on and on. it was really funny!!!!

Fan club exclusivity....

I'd like to echo Jason's sentiments regarding the "added value" of the fanclub. Even multi-billionaires U2 had a very good deal with their fanclub--$20 got me four issues of the very impressively assembled Propaganda magazine, an exclusive bonus live CD, and a chance to buy advance tickets for local shows (usually slightly cheaper). I can certainly vouch for the Crowded House/Split Enz/Neil Finn club as well--a level of personalized service that I'd have thought impossible given the high number of members...for $15/year. I'm glad I held back on spending the $65 for Sting's group (and I'm certainly a bigger Sting fan than a U2 or even Neil Finn fan), but the "added value" just didn't seem worth it. I'd love the chance to see an exclusive fanclub show in NYC, but not for an additional high ticket cost on TOP of the high fan club fee. As for getting to buy tickets for other shows on the tour, I really don't think being in the club would give me an advantage. I'm curious to know what'll be on the "exclusive" CD-ROM, and how long it'll be before that material surfaces in other formats, and whether it'll help justify the cost. Sorry to those that have joined and feel disappointed. I'm glad I saved my money for the Japanese SACD version of Sacred Love ($31.84 including shipping from www.cdjapan.co.jp) -b-

Yeah, I'm well annoyed, as i paid the $65 as well. Live and learn, I guess. Rest assured, I will not be renewing my subscription, and if i thought i could cancel it and get a refund, I would. Still love Sting, but I've never paid for hired love before in my life. Paid the $65 and he didn't even kiss me first. damn. Andee B. Indianapolis, IN
