need help from L.A. people

Hi I'm trying to date a certain concert of THE POLICE from 1979. It shows Sting with bare breast, Andy with a black T-shirt without sleeves and Stewart with a yellow T-shirt. They play in a small club before a wall that seems to be out of wickerwork. Now all the photos I've got are taken by a photographer from L.A. Sting's haircut indicates that it might be in May 1979. The POLICE played a lot in that area: May 8, 1979 - Avondale, LA - Ole Man River's May 9, 1979 - Baton Rouge, LA - Kingfish May 17, 1979 - Los Angeles - Madam Wong's could be the location. If anyone knows what the clubs looked like he might be able to help me. I would send some scans to anyone interested. Thanks, Dietmar

You know what I'm amazed by? You guys remember all this stuff! I'm lucky if I can remember how many times I saw a particular tour, never mind what he actually performed---I'm quite impressed! Lazarus Heart is a track on the fairly popular three disc set called Art of the Heart. I think Sting did play it during the NTLS tour and used it for a closer for some shows on the TST tour. Hi all, I've been thinking about this song, which is one of my favourites (and really should've been a single!). Today I was listening to a bootleg live CD from the ...NTLS tour, and realised that not only do you not see many bootlegs from this tour around (in my experience anyway), I've never been able to find any live shows which include "The Lazarus Heart". The only live version of that song I've ever found is the one which appears as a b-side on the 12-inch vinyl release of the "The Soul Cages" single. It segues, rather creatively, into "Too Much Information", another song which I don't think has been played live for a good few years now. What I'd like to know is whether Sting ever included "The Lazarus Heart" in the setlist on a regular basis, and if so, whether there are more versions out there. One of my favorite bands, rubyhorse (you've heard me go on and on about them) is playing the World Peace Festival (or some such) in Bali with a bunch of artists, including STEWART! I think the festival is later this month. Anyway, it's like two universes colliding! Some of my favorite people at the same show. Of course, I can't make it to Bali, but it's supposed to be televised. I just need to find out when/where. Maggie
