Hello everybody , I have just received the Japanese version of Sacred Love and it's a classic edition in a jewel case and not a digipack likethe limited European version. Does anybody know if there was a digipack limite edition or if this is the only one. Thanks

Sting : Person of the Year

STING has been selected to receive the MusiCares Person of the Year honor by the Recording Academy. The award -- previously bestowed upon BONO, PAUL SIMON and ELTON JOHN -- is given to musicians who also distinguish themselves as humanitarians and activists. Sting will be honored on February 6th in Los Angeles during the Grammy Fest week of events .

It's unfortunate that some songs on Inside are cut. Would have been nice to be able to play the concert as a whole without interruptions. And it would have been nice if Joy Rose could have sung instead of Mary J. Blige. Though Mary managed to do a good job on the album, she sounded awful live. Joy Rose has range, Mary doesn't... And the number of Mary's assistants credited in the liner notes is a complete joke! It's also unfortunate that we didn't get all of the AOL Sessions or the rehearsal versions of Dead Man's Rope featured in the Sting.com Members' Area. Hopefully that will be included on the fan club CD... The tracks on the DVD are great enough to make the effort and transfer them to CD for treatment in the car... Unfortunately, the track Inside has been cut into 3 pieces. Anyone on the list who has successfully put it together to one song?? The lines "Love me like a father...likw the world has just begun" are sung twice, it seems the song has been put together from two different sessions. But its worth it to complete it to one song again. Any ideas?? Cheers, Holger

Hello, Gang thanks to a friend of mine I got as promo copy of the Inside DVD yesterday from a friend who works for a music magazine. I just had a short look but I recommend it to all those who dislike Sacred Love because of the heavy use of drum machines. This DVD gives me the soul I miss so much on his new studio album!! Joy Rose is awesome, can't wait to see them in concert. I will burn me an audio CD of the music, sell my copy of Sacred Love and be a happy man!! Volker PS somebody mentioned that "Sacred Love" sounds like a remix album of "Inside" - THAT'S IT!!
