I think you are referring to Orbital, who played at the Dance Valley festival.They played well, but their beats weren't as pounding (and therefore disappointing for the crowds) as Junkie Xl who played prior to Orbital. This was indeed 2001, and ended up with 1000s of ravers soaking from heavily rain and walking towards anything on the freeway, causing traffic delays and angry mayors... Richie Hawtin kicked ass though! Le Petit Orb however played on the festival in 2000 and there are no recordings (at least, not proper ones. I know of one old time orb member who tried to record the show and his recording device failed within five minutes... \).
