Hello, I am in the process of collecting setlists of live orb performances to add to the etree database. If you are not familiar with etree, it is a database of performances by trade friendly artists. Their site is at: http://db.etree.org Etree is normally associated with "jambands" like the grateful dead (due to their liberal recording and trading policy), but etree has listings for all types of bands in every genre of music. There are literally thousands of bands currently in their database. In order for lossless shn or flac data to be added to this database the people who run etree need to know for sure that a band is trader friendly. This keeps the RIAA off their back and lets them operate their site without fear of litigation. No money ever changes hands in etree trades and they are done purely for the love of music. Their FAQ explains what they are all about better than I can here. I know that the rule of thumb around here it that live shows and out of print material are okay to trade but I was hoping that there was an offical statement from LX or his managament to this affect. Brighton Concorde updat

hi all.....Just been on the phone 2 the people at The Concorde........NO PANIC...... It seems like the original date is going 2 be changed to coinside with the new release date of Bikes n Trikes in England.......Sorted PS the geezer at the club has assured me the venue has had a complete rewire by the Southern Electricity Board....and they have got new chillers for the Red Stripe...........excellent It was brilliant there last time.......this will be a great gig Have a great weekend all Regards Mark W.

Ben, For that "spacey" orb like feel, FSOL (future sounds of london) is a good start. For a little more on the downtempo side try Sofa Surfers and/or Tosca.

Hello, Sorry for the dumb question but who can I contact to get a l/p to this server? I've looked through some of the archived messages and came up with a couple of l/p but they were from back in 2002 and I'm not sure if they're still valid (can't check until tonight). I found an email address for a RMStringer, who I'm guessing is Rob, but it's not valid anymore. Little help? Anyone? Buehler? I'm mainly looking for live orb that I don't have....which is a lot....preferably not in mp3 or other lossy compression formats but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
