wow.....great to see this list is active as i'm kinda an orb newb! i have pretty much all of the full length cds at this point and some of the eps and singles etc. have tons of eat static, system 7, squarepusher and other stuff anyhoo i was wondering if anyone was up for a trade for some rare or live stuff or whatever.....aside from what i listed i have a bunch of ozric, gong, phish....and well.....LOTS of other stuff ;) drop me an email at seedybrick(a)hotmail.com also......anyone know when dr. PATTERSON will be IN THE USA????? yup - can't wait for the new system 7......the last live album live transmissions is close to my fav by them ;)

Thanks to Rachel for the recommendation. I got Asect Desect or whatever and at first it sounded like Chris Clark or some other notable, but merely generically named Warp Artist, then something very unique happened and the album started to kick in.. it does sound a bit like orb, with the attention-starved bass (or at least what orb SHOULD sound like). I, obviously, own all the albums I could find, but all the rare stuff I ever got was burned off of Napster and some of the discs have begun corroding and peeling from overuse. I don't want to have to rip all my discs, cuz its alot of work and I don't think I'm a good ripper. Basically. any good music w/out FTP, as I am FTP inept.

The sad part is there was a contest for anyone to remix that audio so its not so uncouth, I don't know if it was entered officially or what happened. Its probably the best one, but, having had the opportunity to steal some of thrash's music from soulseek lately, not anywhere near his best. That fuggin' Coppe is really addicting stuff, and Ant is right, she's a danger to herself and others, but really fun to listen to!! Its supposed to be drum n' bass, but the bass has all been bled out for some really punchy sound, but it fits. For some real 'deep cuts' try the couple of Plaid remixes with her: jan&jeff&jungle curry (4:09) my hard boiled egg heart (6:10) blue (5:05) Still trying to obtain the 'Trash' produced Papa My Buddha which I've heard snippets of. Also diggin' some Squarepusher track called "I was Livid" that I previously did not have. It sounds sorta Daft Punk at first, its catchy. Well off to the Target, yeah, thats rite. THE main Target store... I spare no expense.

I'm not sure how he's trying to rip you off when he offers the tracks for FREE on his website. I was able to download all of the songs, so I"m not sure what your problem is. Whether I'm one of Thrash's lackies or not, does not figure into the argument. Thrash was part of the Orb through 4 of their only good albums. So like I said, how is this a reunion if he's not there?
