Tried it again at home. >I still think it's a big improvement over the Japanese version. Agreed. They really toned down the obnoxious From a Distance. It did seem to flow better. Still don't like Gee Strings...not one bit. I was sorry to see that ULCA didn't make this version. I liked that track on the Japanese version from what I remember. Plaid - wasn't too impressed but will have to give it a few more listens. After this Plaid topic reminded me and when I was listening to IDM.com I've notices some rare music I need to get. First of all is Plaid scoobs in columbia / fly wings. If anyone knows about that let me know where to find and if its worth it. I broke down and got the 3/4 digital d/l of Plaid "Booc" from bleep.com and was pleased. What I'm really after is this darn Boards of Canada "A few old tunes" album.. or as much of it as possible. I heard that Mukinabaht and Sir Prance Alot on shoutcast and was blown away. God dang if that album isn't a double disc as well as showing up in a few different versions, one being complete and one sorta hacked up. Anybody have any suggestions? I heard that soulseek has the first disc, but I'm not gonna try for it unless someone i know has got it in entirety. I missed a covert Plaid thread? I know you all disguised it as a t-shirt thread cuz I'm such a fanatical Plaid fan I can't be trusted to have casual conversation. I have a black dog question though. I keep seeing those homeade looking CD's on called "the temple of transparent balls" and something else. Are those any good? I also saw that unsavoury products with Jim Cauty and still haven't purchased it. I'm not sure if I like new Black Dog. I can't believe listees don't like the Plaid/Bjork songs. All Is Full of Love the one you hated? Get 'Just for Threes" and check out the variety on there... So does anyone know what the source of the tracks on this set (promo or bootleg aside) are? Is there a 54 minute studio version AHEGPBTRFTCOTU? Or are these all live tracks? If so, do the playing times match up with known live recordings?

That Emit site looks pretty cool but I couldn't get it to work at all. Clicking on the text links did nothing and the icons are pretty much meaningless. I don't think it's enhanced, at least it doesn't say enhanced CD on the back of it or anywhere else. From what I can tell it is identical to the UK version except it doesn't come with the pointless slipcase (does anyone else think those things are the biggest waste of paper ever?).
