hmmm, i beg to differ, but i think the ISNESS is brilliant. imho, of course it doesn't sound like the fsol "we know and love" because it's been SEVEN YEARS since the last record. i am not the same person i was seven years ago, are you? i doubt that cobain and dougans are, either. i'm just grateful that those two are still working together. thank god someone has the guts to make some original electronic music. i think the isness simply requires a few repeated LISTENINGS, as opposed to HEARINGS. (if you distinguish the two...) in the meantime, you can listen to those re-re-re-reissues of PAPUA NEW GUINEA. do i hear you asking for another LITTLE FLUFFY CLOUDS, too? take care, venus "George Gershwin died last week. alex's voice sampled in slab album

Reading an older article in a trance europe express (5 I believe) about the band SLAB (with lol hammond from the drum club and NINA WALSH from Cydonia's Ghostdancing and Plum island) and she was saying stuff about how she sampled his voice on a answering machine message he left. and used it on her album.Something like "you're a creep nina you suck" or something (appearently he was drunk ;-)...Has nice pictures of nina in a bunny suit too... Always wondered what she looked like. Anyone know more about this? I can recommend you a great track if you like the new FSOL : Robert Miles & Nina Miranda - Paths (FSOL Cosmic Jukebox mix) It's on the Big Chill loves you (2CD) Also on a UK CD Single. Both are the radio edits But the (excellent) long version is only on a cd promo featuring an excellent Jah Wobble remix. Worth finding this on Ebay. "Special Classical pressing" was the first pressing AFAIK. I fink I got mine the week it came out and ones I saw for sale later didn't have the stickers on. Maybe they couldn't be arsed to put the stickers on when they repressed it or ran out of stickers.
