Sorry about not making it; Monterey is a neat place, and you're right about the race being fun. I've only sailed there once (last year), but I've done a million canoe races there. My brother and I just got drawn for late-season whitetail tags in AZ, for the third year in a row, and the odds are about 5%! I got a real wall-hanger there two years ago, but haven't been able to get it out of the taxidermist yet. Hope to cross paths with you someday. Getting online is a problem, and basically it happens only when I am in a motel. The whole get-to-gether in Monterey was great, met some really good people and some great sailors. The races were fun and Miss T was hauling butt all day. I would like to race again next year but it seems unlikely.
