Congrats on the race, John.  Sorry about not making it; Monterey is a neat place, and you're right about the race being fun.  I've only sailed there once (last year), but I've done a million canoe races there.
 
My brother and I just got drawn for late-season whitetail tags in AZ, for the third year in a row, and the odds are about 5%!  I got a real wall-hanger there two years ago, but haven't been able to get it out of the taxidermist yet.
 
Hope to cross paths with you someday.

Thanks, just got your e-mail.  Getting online is a problem, and basically it happens only when I am in a motel.  The whole get-to-gether in Monterey was great, met some really good people and some great sailors.  The races were fun and Miss T was hauling butt all day.  I would like to race again next year but it seems unlikely.
