Hare Tod, For once, I've pre-empted you on something. Sent my rigging to Jerry a couple of weeks ago. Diagnosis: replace a couple of bent turnbuckle studs, replace the backstay (which he feels would have failed by now had it been the forestay--yikes!), and add a backstay adjuster to tension the rig from aft (at my request), now that I have a roller-reefer-furler-on 'er. In the process of removing mine to ship to Jerry for replacement (getting kinda kinked and generally ragged from years of trailering) I noticed that one of my upper shrouds had a slight wear-notch by contact with the junction of the mast crane/mast.....
Making up a box to ship the stuff in now....
