hey fellow kw fans ! well ... it's really NOT a big surprise to me that the luxembourg concert was postponed @ the last minute , because i suppose that the real reason for it was that kw simply forgot to vote by mail for the upcomin' german election on ... sept. the 22nd ( the date , where they originally should have played in luxembourg !!! ;-) & as it's a quite important election ( obviously also for them ;-) , they chose to stay in their constituency & vote directly on the 22nd !!! *BWG* ;-))) okay ... enough of that speculation , fellows !!! *smirk* :o} i like to tell u somethin' about my very own experiences @ kw concerts & why i've chosen NEVER to go to ANY concert for the reason alone only to see that specific concert , if it's not very close by where i actually live ( which is bremen in northern germany btw ;-) !!! fyi : i've seen kw @ the tribal gatherin' ( more or less ;-) near london in may '97 & it was planned as a trip to london , to do some record shoppin' & clubbin' there too with one of my best friends ... & to went to such a big festival like TG with kw as one of the headliners , but also incl. orbital , daft punk etc. , which was mostly great fun for us !!! *G+* ;-) btw : i was also @ the zkm in karlsruhe / germany in oct. of the same year ... NOT_ONLY to see kw again , but also to meet people like the legendary oskar sala & also dieter doepfer & talk to them about our mixturetrautonium project ... together with the not lesser legendary "don" schneider , of course !!! ;-) but if it were ONLY for a kw concert , i most likely wouldn't have been there too again , simply because it would've been much too expensive for that reason alone , imho !!! :-o instead of it , i've combined LOTS of diff'rent things then & it was a great pleasure & also a honor for me to be able to meet all those interestin' people & talk to them live & directly !!! ;-) that was REALLY worth the money that i've spent for these events , but it's rather illogical , if not to say silly for me to went to a far away foreign country ONLY to see a single band live in concert , sorry folx !!! :-/ sure , i can understand your disappointment very well , but isn't it @ least a bit "strange" to spent that much money ( 500 euro or even more !!! >:-O ) & travel that far for ONLY_ONE_REASON_??? *jus'_wonderin'* :-o i simply WOULDN'T do that & that's why i've explicitly chosen NOT to go to ANY concert of kw or what other band soever , if it's ONLY for one concert & in a far away country !!! it's simply NOT worth all the hassle & money to invest & to go through ... imho , of course !!! thanx for readin' my humble opinion anyway , fellow kw fans !!! however ... many greetinx , oh jay ;-) *~\^/~*

Oh Jay, I have to say: U R ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!#$%^&*^!. THEY absolutely don't deserve such fans as all we are. They are not worth those 500 euro spent on arranging the travel from Poland. I won't do the same mistake for the 3rd time in my live... -> Let's smile - I'm sure we'll new albume from them for this X-mas and live DVD on Easter! I also heard about "remastered" reissues of all they albums released on special 24 karat gold CDs! J O K E !#$%^<>:! I know I'm naive but I feel like I've been cheated. Once again.... Postponed concert in Luxembourg

It's not so bad - I'll be able to refund part of the money spent on planned trip to Luxembourg. Although, plain tickets are gone (they don't have such options) and e-ticket.lu still didn't anwser for my mail asking for ticket cancelation... Nevertheless - the only think I feel now is that Kraftwerk guys don't respect their fans at all (which is not surprise to most of us I suppose...). I wish all happy person who will be able to go to Luxembourg, Belgium and Paris wonderful concert experiences. I'll tell the funny story. Long time ago, on October 1991, the guy from far far away country called Poland went from Warsaw to Berlin trying to catch his favourite band live in action. What was his disappointement when he arrived just to read the sheet on the door of 'Die Halle' stating that concert was postponed for month later... (It was time when there was no internet or even MTV in Poland :-). Because the guy from far country really loved their music, he decided to spend even more money and drive to Berlin again on November 24th 1991 (what gave him unforgetable experience). Well. What can I say now. I've already spent about 500 EUROs for plain and train tickets and hotel reservations (don't mention ticket to Den Atelier) just to realize that... the concert was postponed! What does it mean for the guy from far country -> I'm not able to re-book my train and plain tickets, probably it's also to late to cancel my hotel reservation. Great! I've lost five hundred euros and I will not see Kraftwerk live! I listen to their music, collect their records (and so on) for more than 20 years. I had the dream to see Kraftwerk live again after 10 years. Sunday Sep 22nd is my Name's Day. RALF & CO. -> THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Of course, I won't stop love their music, but you can imagine what I think & feel for the moment... GREAT GREAT DISAPPOINTEMENT!!!!!! Greetings, Tomasz Kirmuc (very upset fan from Warsaw, Poland)

You see what I mean! (re: previous two emails) It's totally out of order. There must be dozens of people who have made a very special effort to attend that concert from other countries. They have had months to prepare and to postpone at the last minute is PREDICTABLE and quite frankly UNCOOL and BORING. I for one will not be making travel arrangements for the Paris show (from London) until the VERY LAST minute. Even then I will brace myself for disappointment when I arrive. Now what kind of a fucked up situation is that?

O dear, o dear... Isn't this just what we all feared could happen? This is a very cruel form of torture. And besides that, I'm a bit scared that one of the concerts that I've been looking forward to for my whole life, could be a let down. I saw Human League this year too, and that was ok but not great. Soft Cell were amazing. Any news on the shows in Gent? Kind greetings Paul
