Well, that must have been a big shock. I've always been scared that would happen. Rule one, never tell people that you're a big fan/collector of vinyl
(or other collections). Most of the times these things happen when someone knows what you're doing. The records probabely end up on ebay.
Maybe a good opportunity to locate the items and once you've won the auction, locate the bastard, send the nearest listmember to "collect" your record(s) back and kick some ass. I'll be happy to bid.
That would be my suggestion..

I have been keeping an eye on eBay just in case but - to be honest - proving something on sale there was previously stolen would be nigh impossible. I would relish the idea of "collecting" the stuff personally. Fourtunately, the items were covered on the house insurance and that does seem to be going through okay (even though they were off the property at the time), it's just the sentimental value that's the killer. My feelings are for my mate though - he's now without any equipment and, as any DJs on the list will know, if you ain't got any equipment, you can't DJ and if you can't DJ, you ain't getting paid... -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of TheRitesOfMu@aol.com Sent: 20 August 2004 09:28 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [KLF] Contemplating sale of KLF Vinyl- Advice please In a message dated 19/08/2004 19:21:25 GMT Standard Time, bouwes@hotmail.com writes: Well, that must have been a big shock.
