AW: [KLF] Is this the KLF font?
http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/trade-gothic/bold-condensed-no-20/
Could anyone confirm this? I know we had this other font that looked a /lot/ like the KLF font, but it wasn't exactly it, right?
No. What Bill (or the writer) meant is that all Penkiln Burn posters use the font above. The KLF font is still different and close to Compacta, as Peter already wrote. ..::// Thomas
As far as I can judge it, it's probably a Helvetica Condensed that Bill uses and that the KLF have used on Shag Times for example (inner sleeve). Just a thought... Dan --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)

try sample text: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/compacta/?PREFS_SET[RenderString]=The%20KLF and http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/letraset/helvetica-condensed/?PREFS_SET[RenderString]=The%20KLF -- 5o Peter.Mann at tuke.sk
I think they use two fonts from the Helvetica family tree Check for the characteristic "4" that appears on the back of SPACE and most of the singles: www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/helvetica-inserat/familytree.html I used the Swiss 921 when i did the back cover to my "The Singles" compilation The Compacta font is wrong! ;-) mange --- Peter Mann <Peter.Mann@tuke.sk> wrote:
