from a previous mail on this list: According to newly opened www.theorb.com: CUSTERD: Album Custerd – the collaboration between Alex Paterson, Jimmy Cauty and Guy Pratt – release an album later this year on an as yet undetermined label. Tracks include; I Wanna Marry A Lighthouse Keeper, Listen William, Planet Of Shadows and Boom Bang Bombay (Rock The Boat) which was released last year on an ultra limited promo 12-inch. Yes, this was an early 'Transit Kings' project limited to only 75 copies. If you want to get your hands on one with the press sheet don't expect to pay less than £100. Of course you have to find one first, but it is an awesome track. http://www.discogs.com/Custerd-Boom-Bang-Bombay/release/216225 As quoted on discogs: Custerd was started as a side project of the Transit Kings (Alex Paterson, former Orb member/co-founder Jimmy Cauty and Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt), releasing a 12" that should have been followed by an album, "Ear Cake 3000", which unfortunately never materialized. It was re-released on the green traffic light 7" by the transit kings. http://www.discogs.com/Transit-Kings-Butterflies-Boom-Bombay/release/744691 Over and Out... ________________________________ From: trance3am <trance3am@yahoo.com.au> To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thu, 1 September, 2011 11:26:18 Subject: [KLF] (no subject) I was looking at my vinyl collection and came by this Custerd - Boom Bang Bombay Label: Not On Label Catalog#: CUSTERD 001 Format: Vinyl, 12", Single, Single Sided, Promo,Saffron Label Country: UK Released: 2003 Genre: Electronic Style: House, Experimental Tracklist A Boom Bang Bombay (We're Gonna Rock The Boat) anyone know anything about it ? regards Marc

Never seen it for sale, so it could just be a limited promo? I do, however, have a promo CDR of the 3 x 7" singles (somewhere - can't find it at the moment!) - I think these appeared on "Early Bath" anyway? On 1 September 2011 11:57, Tim Tim <gunsofmu@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:

Yup, known as "Saffron Label 12" Mix". Also on the Malicious Damage compilation CDR, "Early Bath". I managed to bag the 12" soon after it came out for not much money - but, yeah, it probably goes for a small fortune nowadays... On 1 September 2011 11:47, Thomas Touzimsky <tto@klf.de> wrote:
