They sound EXACTLY like the "choir" that chant through "Doctorin' the Tardis" - to such an extent that I'm pretty sure it's some of the same voices. But unless someone else on the list owns the CD single, then this thread's probably a bit of a blind alley now. Still, it's interesting to think there may be another track out there with the uncreditted vocals of King Boy D and Rockman. This may also explain some of the contemporary rumours that said the Naturists were actually the the KLF (see James Parker's post). John Not Scots, just Scott-ish

"I've got a CD" by the Naturists, called "The Friendly Islands". There's a hand written orange sticker on the front, which says "MINI LP BY TONY THORPE OF THE MOODY BOYS". So there you go. Hi! While we're on the subject on OT-ish CD singles, I have a copy of "Naked in the Rain" by the Naturist (or "the Naturists") which came out on Interactive in 1994. It is a radical cover of the Blue Pearl 1989 original, featuring the chorus done in an "all lad's together" male chant, very similar to "Doctorin' the Tardis", and the whole thing hangs together over a "Glitter beat", again similar to KLF3. Since "Naked in the Rain" obvious has Jimmy Cauty/Youth connections, does anyone know who the Naturist/s is or are? Or were? Are we dealing with another, unacknowledged, KLF reference - as the whole thing sounds uncannily like the Timelords only number one hits single! John Not Scots, just Scott-ish

As an avid reader of NME from 90-96 I recall that around 1994 they had a small feature in the Vibes section on the Naturists. If i recall correctly it was complete with a pic of two blokes sitting side by side on a piano stool. The shot was taken from behind and they were naked apart from woolly hats on. I recall that the article mentioned the KLF as possibly behind them (though there were often stories at the time of their impending return because of their spectacular BRits stunt two yeats prior). I think the article referenced the KLF's final ad with the line about our 'disguise may be complete' and the irony that the naturists were naked (though otherwise anonymous and shadowy). Hi, At the risk on treading on the toes of "ibuyshite", it looks as if someone has downloaded stuff from www.brandnew.co.uk, and is now selling it on CDR format on ebay. Hi! I've just started using Kazaa Lite this afternoon, and have managed to download God mMachine's "What Time is Love"? However, I have no idea, now that it's downloaded onto Kazaa Lite, how I then put it into my mp3 files, which is very annoying. Can anyone tell me how to do this (or is it just something you can't do)? Thanks, John Not IT literate, just literate
