Now don't get excited, but I'm sure I remember a "backwards" ETERNA1 going for £300 on Ebay about two years ago. Others may be able to confirm. The Orbital mix of "Love Park" may appear on some obscure compilation CD as well as the single, but sadly I've never seen it.

I've just signed up to last.fm, I know behind the times, and I listened to THe Blizard King's In The Ghetto, which last.fm tells me if off the album Huono Viisaus, the unreslease Bad Wisdom Kalevela album - or was it? According to last.fm some people have been listening to it, so is there any music, and is it avaliable anywhere? kt.

I had the one-side promo and I think it sold for around £20. But then, I sold it as part of around 20 or 30 KLF 12"s in one week, which created a bit of a bidding "frenzy" (thanks partly to klf.de's promotion of my auctions - cheers!) I was thinking about the sheer lack of KLF demos, off-cuts, etc last night. Almost every band in the world with any fans at all has a wealth of demos, Peel Sessions, or whatever than turn up on the internet eventually - but hardly anything by Bill and Jimmy. And half the stuff that is out there, fans are never sure whether its real or fake. They either threw away a lot of stuff, or kept it under lock and key. The third option, I suppose, is that they occasionally gave tapes and stuff to friends (Youth, LXD, etc) who then either lost them or were too mashed to remember their musical importance. On these subjects, two questions: (1) the Whitney 1-sided 12" is marked "Made in Scotland", and "JAMSLP2 is marked "Made in Wales". Is there any significance to these? Is it literal or is it some sort of obscure joke? There a lot of stuff in Bill's "45" about how, as a kid growing up in Scotland, he used to resent everything he owned (pencils, balls, toys, etc) having "Made in England" stamped on them. I wonder if its something to do with what? And is Jimmy actually Welsh? He grew up in the Wirral, so he might have been born (or conceived) just over the border, I suppose. (2) The White Room "demos" are probably the only large body of KLF unreleased work fans've been able to track down. Are these actually demos, or are they the album as planned for release in September 1989? Cleaned up, they sound perfect to me - but I wonder if Jimmy had still to sprinkle the last keyboard effects and pop stardust on them. Seriously, I could just about see some KLF re-recordings appearing this year. It's quite fashionable for bands to release "alternative" best ofs, where the songs are re-recorded in a different style (even the Beatles did it last November). These things never usually please fans, or the casual buyer - but the chance to piss people off would probably appeal to Jimmy immensely (I'm sure Bill's only input into any new product would be a phonecall from the farmhouse to say "aye"). Plus, despite protestations to the contrary, JC seems more comfortable with the KLF's musical past than he has in years. The music he produced from 2002-2005 seemed a logical progression of the late KLF/K Foundation days. Hi, Fnord and all, Not sure about everything else - but the Possum History CD would be worth 50 UKP + I would think, but then you never can tell ... Of my original list of "still important" collectibles, I'm pretty sure all exist apart from the 3" CD of Marathon's "Love Park" (which no one seems to own - I love those Orbital mixes) and, of course, "Pure Trance 5" KLF8T. I remember there being at least one mention of someone (possibly Erik Gander?) owning 8T at some point, but its continued non-existence seems strange. We now have regular copies of "Love Trance" appearing on Ebay (a track Bill & Jimmy claimed never to have recorded). But a track they HAVE said they recorded but never issued (the original unreleased, unambient, un-LP-mix, un-Lost-Continented, etc. "Last Train") still languishes unbootlegged. (Sigh) Oh, and I sold my copy of the French "No More Tears" promo CD for around £90 on Ebay about 13 months ago. I must admit, out of my 2000 or so Ebay sales, it IS the one I sort of regret now. (Sigh). And for mailing vinyl - I both some cardboard envelopes on bulk from Ebay a while back. They came complete with cardboard stiffeners and I used to put a stiffener either side of the vinyl before mailing. If I was selling more than one, I would "sandwich" the stiffeners between each record. Sometimes, I would then sellotape the envelopes together, if it was a large amount of vinyl going out to one buyer. Hi John and list, I've not posted for a couple of years now but I find it hard to believe it was over 9 years since the FTM gig at the Barbican. I met a few of you there and then some more on later M25 spins. With the passing of time I've been thinking of selling some things from my Kollection but I've not bought/sold vinyl over ebay and wondered if anyone could recommend what kind/where to get the right packaging for sending vinyl and with the new postage tariffs in the UK what kind of cost it might be for say a single 12" LP. I can't remember where I got it from but I do have both the regular and the Aussie version of History Of The Jams CD. If anyone wants to make a fair offer for it let me know or I'll stick it up on ebay. I've got an assortment of other bits including 1 (maybe 2) WFTROM CD's, The Kalevala singles (inc 'Gimpo' signed by Gimpo!), an FTM kit bag (pretty sure all the contents are still in it) and also I was one of the lucky ones to receive the infamous Dutton VHS compilation. I'd be interested to guage what kind of price I might expect on ebay for those even if you're not interested in them yourself.
