I would love to have this compilation on cd. btw what about cover & disc art for this project? Dex >> Please, everyone, bare in mind, this is a CDR with a handwritten cover. It's nothing professional (apart, of course, from the wonderful music). The cover I am using is a photo of B&J in front a console at Trancentral, looking moody. The back cover if Bill holding a sheep in front of Jimmy in a cafe. Both photos were downloaded from Mancentral a long time ago. WinAmp 5.02 being one of them. http://www.m4a.com/ BUT this does not appear to be a true lossless format, just a better lossy compression scheme. I've been noticing that FLAC has taken the forefront of lossless compression. Since we're currently talking about the legality of copied music, I thought I'd just clarify a few things about a compilation of KLF rarities I sent to the list a few weeks ago. I've now managed to make a CDR of the following (a collection I've provisionally titled "The Magnificent"): The Magnificent (From the "HELP" album) Love Trance (From KLF6T a-side) Deep Shit (Part 3) (From Bootleg) The Lover's Side (12" Mix) (From Bootleg) Madrugada Eterna (Club Mix Edit) (From Bootleg) What Time is Love (Monster Attack Mix) (From KLF6T b-side) Gary in the Tardis (Minimal) (From Belgian CD single) E-Train/Go To Sleep (taken from the "White Room" movie) Burn the Beat (taken from the Possum "Burn the Beat" CD) What Time is Love (KLF4T b-side from "Power Mix" CD single) 3 AM Eternal (1989 UK Radio Edit from "Vitamin E" CD compilation) Mr. Hotty Loves You (Full Length) (From the Belgian "Uptight" CD single) David A. Stewart - Lily Was Here (Space Centre Medical Unit Hum Mix) (by the Orb, late 1989) What Time is Love (Power Mix Edit from "Power Mix" CD single) Last Train to Trancentral (Benio Over and Out) (from "Deep Heat 10") Justified and Ancient (Slow version take from the "Mu" Japanese CD) Hopefully this would make a worthy companion to "LSOM" 1 & 2? What do people think? John PS - Incidentally, the E-Train/Go To Sleep track I extracted from an mp3 of the "White Room Movie" soundtrack (the actual music of the film, rather than the unreleased album) and I've uploaded that small track as an mp3 to: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/klf-history/. The first part of the track seems to be an instrumental, along the lines of KLF8R's b-side, but it sounds different - could this be a bit of KLF8T, I wonder? It's certainly not on the "White Room" album demos. The next part of the mp3 (which features in the film where Bill and Jimmy build a fire) is "Go To Sleep", but with an extended chorus and solo vocals from Maxine. Again, maybe a 12" version for KLF8T? In order to put this mp3 up, incidentally, I've had to take down the Brilliant mp3.

Help needed indeed (LSOM 3)!

Hi, everyone. The requests for my "Lost Sounds of Mu" compilation 3 have been amazing. Thanks for taking such an interest. Some people do wonder where I get the time from - well, as some will know, my Dad died a couple of weeks ago, I'm currently unemployed (although sorting out the will and funeral arrangements is a full time job) and I'm looking for something to fill my time. Sending out CDs to fellow fans is clearly better than brooding around the house, I'm sure you'll agree. Please note, however, that after a few suggestions I've decided to remove "The Magnificent" from the tracklisting and replace it with "What Time Was Love" from the "Give Peace a Dance" compilation. That should get the CD going with a bang! - and hopefully will encourage others to go out and buy "Help" itself, thereby supporting Warchild. Incidentally, if anyone in receipt of "Lost Sounds of Mu 3" wants to donate something to me, then please feel free to pay something into my Paypal account using this e-mail address. However, all proceeds gained I would forward on to the British Heart Foundation (a charity that helped both me and my Dad). Anyway, this is all getting to touching-feely for words! I'll be in contact with all those who want a copy in the next few days.
