Crane Day

It appears we will be bringing in a crane the second week of November to remove some abandoned boats from the marina. I have also had a couple people requesting a crane this fall. If you are interested in craning in or craning out of the lake let me know ASAP so we can bring in the right sized crane. Navigation Lights

The sailing season started out great with very good compliance on navigation lights. But lately compliance has become a real problem. The rangers have informed me that they will be conducting regular patrols down this way checking on navigation lights compliance. Remember that navigation lights are required to be on from sunset to sunrise. Failure to have them on may well result in a citation. If you do not have navigation lights do not sail past sunset. FOGSL 2017 Fall Fundraiser

There are details below for the FOGSL Fall Fundraiser, and if possible please support their fundraising efforts by attending the fundraiser, donating to their cause or becoming a “Friend” of Friends of the Great Salt Lake ($30.00 annually). This organization does SO MUCH to protect the Great Salt Lake – and their efforts flow down to us, by having a beautiful lake to sail and row on. Without their preservation efforts, the quality of the water and the overall condition and health of the lake, would be so much worse. Please, please, please support them in any way you can – no donation is too small. New Food Trailer at the Marina

Gonzo Boat Rentals will have their new food trailer open tonight and Saturday. If you are out here on one of those two days give it a try. The food is great! I had the French dip today and it was very good. He will also be serving sodas and beer also. This is a trial run for next year. We are happy to have this new addition to the marina.
