A blast from the past. So, now that Port of Shadows has been out, what did you think of our storytime during the Domination? -Matt C.

Agreed, I felt that Bone Gnasher would have been a great substory that the Company could have attached themselves to. Would have been nice if the 1st book didn't breeze over the majority of them. I'm also hungry for more from that time period. I enjoyed Port of Shadows immensely. The few shorts we've gotten since then have been enjoyable as well. It's definitely my favorite part of the setting. Still full of mystery...the Company as a cog in the Domination's war machine...the erudite, ephemeral, and fell Lady. What results I get from occasional googling suggest that Pitiless Rain is planned to be a sequel rather than another interquel. The few shorts we've gotten since Port of Shadows had me hopeful that it would follow on from that -- since the shorts we got leading up to Port of Shadows ended up being chapters from that book. Still, there's room for a sequel to answer the questions that Port of Shadows introduced, given Croaker's "present" circumstances. Really I'm just desperate for more, whatever it may be. It's my most cherished series, personally. On Thu, Mar 7, 2024, 1:33 PM Lmorty <lmortensen1@gmail.com> wrote:
