What results I get from occasional googling suggest that Pitiless Rain is planned to be a sequel rather than another interquel.  The few shorts we've gotten since Port of Shadows had me hopeful that it would follow on from that -- since the shorts we got leading up to Port of Shadows ended up being chapters from that book.  Still, there's room for a sequel to answer the questions that Port of Shadows introduced, given Croaker's "present" circumstances.

Really I'm just desperate for more, whatever it may be.  It's my most cherished series, personally.
