What are your default desktop video settings when in Windows XP? You can determine that by right-clicking your mouse on a blank part of your standard desktop and then clicking your "settings" tab. I have added a second hard drive to my machine. I created a FAT partitiion on it and put Fractint there. I created a Fractint.cfg file by booting to DOS with a Windows 98 boot disk and running makefcfg.exe. Oddly, the video modes in the new Fractint.cfg all work except one, 1600 x 1200. I can live with that though. I can use the disk video modes if I need to create a hi res picture for printing. I still cannot get the program to use any video mode above 640 x 480 when going through Windows XP. I must still boot to DOS to run Fractint to get the rest of the modes in Fractint.cfg to work.
