Tried the Fractint Patch on DosBox SVN-Daum and NO lack of memory crash. Everything works just perfectly and really fast. Here are the relevant settings I use on XP. Important is the fixed cycles amount which may be higher with faster systems and dynamic kernel allocation=false. It was bugging me that for each image an integrated frm version was needed and also harddisk space consumed - so I´ve written a new universal version that is used all the times and is placed together with MFR14_1 in the FRM folder. Jim called his latest image Caleidoscope. Here is my version. It was not intended. I just used a chaotic image done with MFR_10 some years ago and produced a good image with the new tools. The title of the old par was this one. The latest MFR_14_2 version - Default Functions - IS a step forward again, it seems. Once more: Please copy it into your frm folder together with MFR_14-1 as MFR_14.frm. Here are the two again - not included in the par.
