He replaces Ty Detmer, who couldn’t keep his job, but could keep the ball in the fairway with distance. If it was match play, my money is still on Detmer. Not only can he keep the ball in the fairway with distance, but as they say in Spanish, he can drive for Gloria, putt for Victoria. That translates to drive for show, putt for dough.
