Happy Birthday to Me!
Headed to Idaho to celebrate my birthday with family. If I don’t get a severe broburn, (click for definition) floating the Boise river or over dose at Del Taco on their 99¢ bean and cheese burritos with green sauce, I should resume this rag sometime next week.
New Big Hitter at BYU
If you keep track of this kind of thing, and I do, Fesi Sitake, the new BYU receivers coach and cousin of Kalani, is now the best golfer on the football staff. He replaces Ty Detmer, who couldn’t keep his job, but could keep the ball in the fairway with distance.
If it was match play, my money is still on Detmer. Not only can he keep the ball in the fairway with distance, but as they say in Spanish, he can drive for Gloria, putt for Victoria. That translates to drive for show, putt for dough. Or as they say in Blythe where I grew up and played a few rounds, “dude, you owe me ten bucks”.
