Writer Debra Monroe will presenttheir work on February 24th at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00 P.M.as part of the City Art Reading Series. Debra Monroe, author of six books and University of Utah graduate,will read from her lastest book, which has been described as "perfect,earthy and self-deprecating and funny" (Sara Nelson, Omnivoraciious);"a vibrant, tough, fascinating look at women shifting classes andplaces," (Anna March, Rumpus); "blunt and salty and smart"(Houston Chronicle); and "a love story, with poetry and fiction more thanany person" (Chicago Tribune). Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
