Poets Adam Love and Martin Balgach willread from their works on Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Salt LakeCity Public Library as part of the City Art Reading Series and the UtahHumanities Council Book Festival. This event is free and open to the public. AdamLove is the author of Another Small Fire (Tired Hearts Press). His writingis upcoming/appears in Black Tongue Review, Split Lip Magazine, AmpersandReview, Cream City Review, Revolver, the Missouri Review, among other journals.He lives in Salt Lake City where he directs the Literary Arts portion of theUtah Arts Festival and spends his free time among the mountains and westernrivers. He holds and MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Martin Balgach isthe author of Too Much Breath (Main Street Rag). His writing has appeared inThe Bitter Oleander, Cream City Review, Fogged Clarity, Rain Taxi, andStirring, among other journals. He holds an MFA from the Vermont College ofFine Arts, works in publishing, and lives with his wife and son in Colorado. City Art is Salt Lake’s longest-running reading series and provides a uniqueforum for the literary arts during their weekly programs on each of the firstthree Wednesdays of the month from September to May at the Salt Lake CityPublic Library.
