Maximilian Werner is the author of four books of fiction and nonfictionincluding Crooked Creek a Torrey House Press novel set in Utah and Arizona during the westwardexpansion at the turn of the 20th century and Black River Dreams, acollection of literary fly fishing essays that won the 2008 Utah Arts Council'sOriginal Writing Competition for Nonfiction: Book. His writing has appeared innumerous journals. He lives in Salt LakeCity. David Pace is the literary editor of 15Bytes art magazine. His stories and narrative nonfiction have appeared inQuarterly West, Alligator Juniper, ellipsis...literature and art, Dialogue,Sunstone and elsewhere. His debut novel Dream House on Golan Drive isforthcoming in June from Signature Books. Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
