Writers Maximilian Werner and David
Pace to read from their work on January 14th at the Salt Lake City Public
Library at 7:00 P.M. as part of the City Art Reading Series.
Maximilian Werner is the author of four books of fiction and nonfiction
including Crooked Creek a Torrey House Press novel set in Utah and Arizona during the westward
expansion at the turn of the 20th century and Black River Dreams, a
collection of literary fly fishing essays that won the 2008 Utah Arts Council's
Original Writing Competition for Nonfiction: Book. His writing has appeared in
numerous journals. He lives in Salt Lake
City.
David Pace is the literary editor of 15
Bytes art magazine. His stories and narrative nonfiction have appeared in
Quarterly West, Alligator Juniper, ellipsis...literature and art, Dialogue,
Sunstone and elsewhere. His debut novel Dream House on Golan Drive is
forthcoming in June from Signature Books.
