Hi All,
I've been wanting to ask this for some time now, but forget to e-mail y'all.
I like wearing & making the pucker toe mocks we see in the Miller paintings. For the red vamp, I've just used a cotton type of material from the fabric store. What would the mountaineers have used????I've thought of using a heavier type of red/scarlet flannel, but it seems it would be to thick. Stroud???? What do you all us &/or what would be a "correct" material for this.... Mike Drougas
