Yes it does have the commercial picture labels - which is why I am curious. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joerg Fitzner" <fisonic@t-online.de> To: <ztt@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, June 30, 2002 6:10 PM Subject: Re: [ZTT] Duel
{A-2U} is the matrix of the 'Thirds' mix on ZTAS 8-DJ (no 'DJ' in the matrix number). Does yours have the commercial picture labels?

I've been listening in some detail to the different 7" copies of Duel that I own. According to the discography, ZTAS 8, PZTAS 8 and DUAL 1 all clock in at 4:07.
My copies of PZTAS 8 and DUAL 1 clock in at 4:07, however, my copy of ZTAS 8 clocks in at 3:56, which is the timing the discography gives for the promo ZTAS 8 DJ. This is a slightly different mix of Duel, with more pronounced backing vocals and a short 'elephant noises' instrumental break.
What I would like to know, is whether the correct timing for ZTAS 8 is 3:56 and the discography is wrong, or whether my copy of ZTAS 8 is a rarer version. Mine is in a standard picture sleeve with matrix numbers {ZTAS 8 A -2U-1-1-X 1} {ZTAS 8 B xx-1U-1-2-5} (the xx is two scratched out numbers/letters).
Any thoughts?
Simon
