I think the last hit Horn produced was "Can't Fight The Moonlight" by Leann Rimes in 2000. Not that long ago, but also probably not the sort of "Horn sound" we're hungry for. That's why Tatu seem interesting. Hopefully their quirkier image will bring out the weirder pop side of Trevor -- a trait that's hard to explore when you're producing Rod Stewart, Leann Rimes, the Frames, Cher, etc. (Although Cher's "The Shape of Things To Come" was sheer [cher?] genius!)
