Obviously the release of the first western release of Tatu is coming closer. The group has been renamed to t.A.T.u. and their western homepage www.tatugirls.com has been updated, including some words about their work with Trevor Horn: 'Even t.A.T.u.'s pop electronica has an edge. That's what enticed esteemed producer Trevor Horn to work with t.A.T.u. on the English-language versions of 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane to be released via Interscope Records. Horn, whose credits include membership in The Buggles ("Video Killed The Radio Star"), prog-rock's Yes and the acclaimed The Art Of Noise as well as producer for The Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones, Seal, Simple Minds and Frankie Goes To Hollywood, compares t.A.T.u.'s sound not only to Prodigy but also a group he worked with in the '80s, Propaganda.' The homepage also contains the video for their first western release 'All The Things She Said'. It doesn't seem to sound too different from the original though. I quite like their russian CD but I have no idea why someone should compare them to The Prodigy... In the meantime they have released a new single in Russia along with another provocative video which is all about, erm, masturbation. CobraBora
