Has anyone heard the Bill Frisell disc accompanying the book Richter 858 (description @ http://www.songtone.com/artists/frisell_link.htm) ? I'm fairly certain I won't be laying out $125 for the CD, but non-the-less am curious.

Bob<< I saw it performed live in San Francisco in January as I mentioned before with Hank Roberts, Jenny Scheinman, and Eyvind Kang. Best music Frisell has done since Roberts used to be in his band. Beautiful soulful playing from all, you couldn't ask for a better lineup. As for the cd, I can't afford it either, although Amazon has it for $80+. You'd have to really want the art book to pay that much. I wonder if anyone taped the show or wouldn't mind (gasp) burning the cd. Cheers, John
