Hi, Didn't Madof perform Masada Guitars along with Marc Ribot during the 50th anniversary shows? I'd really like to know how that sounded. I've come to the conclusion that, in general terms, I don't like rock-klezmer crossovers, and as you say, Rashanim are a perfect example of that kind of blend. That's probably the reason why I also have a serious issue with "Idalah-Abal" on the Electric Masada album! Best, Efrén del Valle

does have a dose of prog in the writing, but I am a big dork for that king of stuff. Overall it is a combination of klezmer, prog, traditional sephardic melodies, and surf. I think it is a pretty solid album.
