It is a record that I like a lot. Nothing avant about it. It is mainly songs with a few wild moments. The atmosphere is usually layback but the songs are quite catchy and the playing never as straightforward as you should expect. If you like your songs a little bit spiced up, you should enjoy it.

I would think that somebody who likes Beresford (and particularly SIGNALS FOR TEA) should be at home with DEADLY WEAPONS. DEADLY WEAPONS owes a lot to Beresford's style and interests. BTW, the singer is Tony Marshall who directed VENUS, BEAUTY INSTITUTE (for those desperately searching for a link between Audrey Tautou and Zorn :-). Patrice.
