If its not too late to contribute to this thread. There is a live CD of God (without Zorn) called Loco. It was recorded in the crypt of "St Mary's Church" London and has Broadrick on guitar. Its on Pathological records. The recording was from 1991. There were also a couple of 7 and 12 inch releases: Breach Birth, Meathead and another album from 1993 called Consumed on Sentrax but I never found that. I saw them live and they were the real thing. The meathead release was the first thing I ever heard of God. I never got the chance to find it/or tape it so that's a pitty. The Loco cd is interesting and quite good but I do prefer the studio albums. I had the chance to see them live three times (unfortunately without Broadrick). The first time i saw them most people just escaped out of the concert hall (or sheltered in the back of the hall (near the bar:-) because it was just too loud. It was said that one of the band-members had serious heart-beatings (mostly beacause of the deep loud basses) during that peticular concert (Gent, Belgium). The other concerts were much more 'listenable' and much better. If there is one band that i would like to see to do another record, i guess it's this one. But I think to recall that Kevin Martin once said that it takes too much energy (and i guess money, time and troubles) to redo a project like this one, which is very understandable. Very underrated and underappreciated band. Sven Richard Gardner <richard.gardner@colourtone.co.uk> wrote: If its not too late to contribute to this thread. Kevin Martin has been discussed a number of times on this list. Everyone remembers the wonderful compilations he did for Virgin in the early 90¹s (Jazz Satellites was so very good, shame Vol 2 died at birth). Can anyone provide an update on his work (music and graphics) as of 2003? Richard
yes, that would be really nice. anyone willing and able??? Richard Gardner <richard.gardner@colourtone.co.uk> wrote: Can anyone provide an update on his work (music and graphics) as of 2003?
