so, did Patton only play on the 2nd set on Fri night? If so, I really got lucky. I thought Hamid Drake was a great drummer and has a nice groove but it was completely absent of the metal feeling that Mick Harris gave the group. It was also nice to see Patton perform on 1 regular mic with no effects. He started off by doing Tuuvian (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) throat singing. I never heard him do that before. Actually, I've never seen anyone do that live. Has he ever done that on recording before?
No, Patton played (sang?, screamed?) on the 1st set as well. Here is how did it look like: http://downtownmusic.net/. As I have seen him leaving Tonic on Saturday night too, I assume that he was with the Painkiller on all sets. Take care, Peter Sunday, September 7, 2003, you wrote to me: Sac> so, did Patton only play on the 2nd set on Fri night?В If Sac> so, I really got lucky.В I thought Hamid Drake was a great Sac> drummer and has a nice groove but it was completely absent of the Sac> metal feeling that Mick Harris gave the group.В It was also nice Sac> to see Patton perform on 1 regular mic with no effects.В He Sac> started off by doing Tuuvian (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) Sac> throat singing.В I never heard him do that before.В Actually, Sac> I've never seen anyone do that live.В Has he ever done that on Sac> recording before?В
