Hi, After the disappointed show of Stangl the last week, i finally went to the Butcher/Edwards show, and this was another very different thing. The spectacular sound of this duo is simply incredible,The frightening technique of Butcher amaze me from the first note and mixed with the brutal sonority of Edwards striking the bass and playing with a very high virtuosism .It was more than a typical improvisation,it was a magical climax, Butcher explores all the possible sonorities of the sax in an spectacular way, brutal but with coherence,is very difficult to explain this, you have to listen it.I'm still amazed.
